What is
OneGlassWine?
OneGlassWine
manufactures, assembles and sells production lines to package wine and alcohol in ready-to-drink glasses.
It
guarantees the preservation of
the original organoleptic properties of the wine, on the flavour side
as well as on the taste side.
Four patents
protect the concept of ready-to-drink glass. This innovative concept
has no equivalent on the market today.
Our Research & Development department is dedicated to the
constant improvment of this technology.
Innovation
for quality.
We work for and with our clients to provide solutions that answer their
needs concerning wine and alcohol packaging, in terms of design or
volume : specific adaptations on the packaging, design of containers
shape in line with their brand, ...
Company History
OneGlassWine is born with
the desire to offer new solutions for the packaging of wine, in niche
market where wine was not sufficiently present, like nomad catering.
Present in France since
2004, the OGW technology develops export in 2009 with the opening of a
subsidiary in the West Cost
of the USA. OneGlassWine confirms its position in 2010 with its
settlement in New-Zealand.
Assets
In order to offer the
best quality, OneGlassWine takes into account every aspect of the wine.
See below the important criteria which guarantee the quality of products
packaged with the OGW process.
Wine Respect - Wine Transfer Process - Stability - Inerting Process -
Vacuum -Lid Sealing -
Rim
- Container
Wine Respect ► Preserved Quality
The wine does not suffer any transformation or
specific work. It is packaged at room temperature and requires no additive nor preservative.
Wine
transfer process ►No oxidation
Wine is kept under inert gas between its initial
container and the final packaging, free of air.
This process ensures an amount of dissolved oxygen lower than
0.5mg/litre.
Stability ► Freshness preserved
The glass-liquid balance applied by OneGlasswine
allows the stabilization of the CO2 inside the wine up to a value of
800mg/litre.
Thus any wine, Rosé and Nouveau wines included can be conditioned under
air vacuum and preserve the freshness desired by the wine-grower.
Inerting process ►Optimum
Preservation
The inerting process of the head space is made
under inert gas. The mix is calculated according to the characteristics
of each wine, in order to ensure
a balance over time.
The head space contains a rate of residual oxygene lower than 0.5%. The
wine is therefore not facing any
oxidation. The inerting equipment is subject of specific patents.
Vacuum ► Airtight
Each packaging is sealed under vacuum.
With the concave lid, the operator can easily identify a flawed
product.
The characteristic 'pop' noise made by air entering the glass ensures
the product quality, airtightness and inviolability.
The fact that the consumer can see the vacuum ('pop' noise on opening,
concave lid) allows him
to check the quality of the conditioning, which is not possible today with
other wine packgings.
Lid sealing ► Easy Opening
The OneGlassWine technology uses heat sealing by conduction to assure a long-lasting,
easy-to-remove seal of the lid.
The components used allow the consumer to open the glass easily.
Totally airtight, the glass can be carried in a bag or a pocket safely.
Rim ► Pleasant
Rims have been designed to please the mouth after opening.
They allow usage of heat sealed, peelable lids, and ensure a durable airtightness.
Container ► Innovant
Containers have been designed specifically to match the OneGlassWine technology.
They are the fruits of years of research, which resulted in a fully transparent glass, strong,
and that enables a long preservation of the wine.
► Recyclable
Thanks to the P.E.T material, the container is 100%
recyclable, with a low carbon footprint.
► Strong and
transparent
The technology used allow a large selection of shapes
combining rigidity and full transparence. The grip is pleasant and the wine's robe can be enjoyed.
The glass' broad opening is ideal for tasting and provides similar appreciation of the wine flavour than
with a classical glass.
The packaging process, associated to the quality of OGW containers,
gives a Best Before Date of more than 10 months.
